How we began
Savannah and Jerrell own and operate an in-home care program unlike any other program out there. Their program was born out of sheer frustration. Many months was spent searching for a program that fit the needs of not only their son, but those of theirs as well. They were both working adults and found the structure of most programs to be difficult to follow, given their schedules. After desperately searching for a program that didn't exist, Savannah made the decision to quit her job. The next 18 months, the couple spent designing and developing their very own curriculum. Savannah is currently a licensed Social Worker and with 15+ years of experience with children. Savannah and Jerrell are CPR and First Aid certified.
Itsy Bitty intentionally and strictly maintains a very small group. We have implemented a maximum of 10 children with two adult workers. We absolutely refuse to have children lost in the shuffle which so often happens in big groups of children. We want it to feel like your kids are going to a friends to play for the day, not like they're going to daycare.
The next major difference is flexibility. We offer full, part, and drop in options. We allow you to take your children out of care for vacation, and highly encourage, if not insist on keeping them home when they're sick, and we do NOT charge you for those days (Up to 10 days)!
